About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day operations of file storage services, including: 
  • Creation and management of file systems and shares (SMB/NFS). 
  • Basic quota configuration and capacity monitoring. 
  • Assist in block storage management, including: 
  • Creation and modification of LUNs under supervision. 
  • Support LUN masking and host presentation activities. 
  • Participate in SAN operations, such as: 
  • Assisting with zoning tasks (FC / iSCSI). 
  • Supporting connectivity and troubleshooting activities. 
  • Assist in configuring and monitoring replication mechanisms. 
  • Gain understanding of synchronous and asynchronous replication. 
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting of storage incidents. 
  • Execute operational procedures following documented standards. 
  • Maintain and update technical documentation. 
  • Work closely with senior team members to build technical expertise. 
 
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Basic knowledge of storage concepts (file vs block storage). 
  • Familiarity with: 
  • SMB/NFS. 
  • LUN concepts and multipathing. 
  • SAN fundamentals (FC and/or iSCSI). 
  • Interest in enterprise storage technologies and infrastructure. 
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow technically. 
  • Good teamwork and communication skills. 
  
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Exposure to Dell Technologies or HPE storage platforms. 
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and/or Windows systems. 
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware). 
  • Internship or entry-level experience in IT infrastructure. 
  
Nice to Have: 
  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash).
